Celebrate fall at OctoberFeast with live music, hatchet throwing and Chatham’s favorite local foods and brews.
CHATHAM, N.Y. (Oct. 3, 2019) — The Chatham Area Business and Arts association will hold its annual OctoberFeast on Saturday, Oct. 5 on Main Street from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Throughout the day, Chatham Brewing will have on-going stein sales, beer tasting, giant Jenga, Disc Golf, Corn Hole, a Munich Selfie Station and hatchet throwing by Hudson Valley Hatchet, along with rotating live performances. People and pets are encouraged to come in German style costumes.
OctoberFeast will feature great local food and entertainment. Local restaurants, outside food vendors and food trucks are bringing fall-themed foods. There will be two stages of entertainment and Radio Woodstock 100.1 will be broadcasting live. There are several free activities for children including fall-themed crafts, a candy apple buffet, face painting by Stellar Body and Art, and a giant slide. There will be life-size games such as Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, and an expanded eating area set up in front of Bimi’s Cheese Shop.
Morris Memorial will be collecting donations for their youth programs. The Morris Memorial currently houses a free after-school program Monday through Friday for local youth. Basketball, floor hockey, arts and crafts, ping pong, foosball, pool, board games, the Wii gaming system, computer classes and homework help are offered. In addition, the Morris partners with local artists and agencies to offer enrichment classes.
